What to Have Ready When You Call
A ninety-second call is usually enough to give you a firm price and an arrival time. Having these three things to hand makes that possible on the first try, rather than after two rounds of questions.
Where exactly you are
A street address is ideal. If you’re in a parking lot, at a trailhead or on a stretch of road, the name of the business or the nearest cross street works fine — or just read out what your phone’s map app is showing. The more precise this is, the more accurate the arrival time we can give you.
What's locked, and what kind of lock
For a vehicle, the make, model and rough year. For a house, whether it’s a knob lock, a deadbolt, or both, and whether anything smart or high-security is fitted. This is what tells us on the phone whether the job is within scope — and if it isn’t, you’ll know before anyone drives out rather than after.
Anything that makes it urgent
A child or a pet shut inside a vehicle or a house, something left on the stove, or a medical need inside — say so immediately and the job moves to the front of the queue. If you have any doubt at all about someone’s safety, call 911 first and us second.
Home Lockouts
Keys inside, door shut, nobody else home. We open residential doors without damaging the lock or the frame, and we’re usually there well before a locksmith shop opens.
Auto Lockouts
Keys locked in the car, engine running or not. We open the vehicle and get you on your way. Note that we open cars only — we don’t cut or program replacement keys.
Home Rekeying
New tenant, lost key, or a spare you’d rather wasn’t out there. We re-pin your existing locks to a brand-new key, so old keys stop working. New locks supplied and fitted if you’d prefer.
